Annex 1 Mandatory Conditions
Mandatory conditions where licence authorises supply of alcohol
1 No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence:-
a at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence,
or
b at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.
2 Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.
Mandatory conditions where a licence includes a condition requiring door supervisors at specified times (not applicable to Cinemas, Theatres or exclusively Club Premises)
3 All persons primarily engaged under or employed on the premises to vet, regulate and control persons entering the premises; or engaged, used or employed in the supervision of patrons once inside in order to ensure the maintenance of good order, public safety and internal security shall be licensed with the Security Industry Authority.
Annex 2 Conditions consistent with operating schedule
Boxing and Wrestling Events
The licence holder shall ensure the following:-
1. An appropriately qualified medical practitioner is present throughout a sports entertainment involving boxing, wrestling, judo, karate or other sports entertainment;
2. Any ring is constructed and supported by a competent person and inspected by a competent person/authority prior to use and certified as suitable for the intended use, such certification being recorded together with the certifying person/authority’s details;
3. At any wrestling or other entertainments of a similar nature members of the public do not occupy any seat within 2.5 meters of the ring;
4. Any conditions required to be fulfilled by the appropriate sport’s governing body be met.
Prevention of Crime and Disorder
5. The licence holder shall ensure that a CCTV system is in operation at the premises and all tapes are retained for periods of at least 28 days.
6. The licence holder shall operate a proof of age scheme.
7. The licence holder shall ensure that staff are trained to ensure that excessive drinking does not occur.
8. The licence holder shall ensure that the conduct of patrons is monitored.
Public Safety
9. The licence holder shall ensure that all fire escapes are clearly marked.
Prevention of Public Nuisance
10. The licence holder shall ensure that staff are aware of the need for patrons to leave the premises in an orderly fashion.
Protection of Children from Harm
11. The licence holder shall ensure that children are not permitted to approach the bar and leave the premises by 19.00.
