Annex 1 Mandatory Conditions
Where premises licence authorises the exhibition of films:-
1 Where the film classification body is specified in the licence, unless subsection 2(b) applies, admission of children must be restricted in accordance with any recommendation made by that body.
2 Where
a) the film classification body is not specified in the licence, or
b) the relevant licensing authority has notified the holder of the licence that this subsection applies to the film in question,
admission of children must be restricted in accordance with any recommendation made by that licensing authority.
3 In this section -
“children” means persons aged under 18; and
“film classification body” means the person or persons designated as the authority under section 4 of the Video Recordings Act 1984 (c.39) (authority to determine suitability of video works for classification).
Annex 2 Conditions consistent with Operating Schedule
4 All users of Letwell Village Hall are required to agree to and comply with the "Standard Conditions of Hire" which cover supervision and the use of the premises including noise regulation; lotteries and licensing; public safety compliance including escape routes and the outbreak of fires, explosives and flammable substance safety issues; health and hygiene issues; electrical appliance safety and use; the reporting/recording of accident and dangerous occurrence; drunk and disorderly behaviour and the illegal supply of drugs; compliance with child protection issues.
Prevention of Crime and Disorder
5 The premises licence holder shall ensure the hirer is aware and understands their requirements to adhere to all relevant regulations and laws whilst hireing the premises, including any set out in the conditions of hire.
6 The premises licence holder shall ensure the hirer is aware of and is provided with copies of the Committees "Age Verification Policy" for the supply and sale of alcohol.
Prevention of Public Nuisance
7 The premises licence holder shall ensure the hirer is aware of their responsibilities to avoid causing disturbance, inappropriate behaviour or noise issues to residents living in the vicinity of the premises, before, during or after using the premises.
8 A noise limitation device will be made available for use on the premises and the premises licence holder shall ensure the equipment is used as appropriate to the usage of the hall.
Public Safety
9 The premises licence holder shall ensure the hirer has received and understood written instructions in the matter of; actions in the event of fire, the observance of food health and safety matters, the location of electrical safety equipment (circuit breakers),
10 The premises licence holder shall ensure the hirer has appropriate insurance cover in place for the hire of the premises.
11 The premises licence holder shall ensure the hirer is aware of the accident reporting procedures and that they are recorded in the appropriate "accidents book" held by the Village Hall Committee.
Protection of Children from Harm
12The premises licence holder shall ensure the hirer is aware of the Committees Child Protection Policy.
The premises licence holder shall ensure the hirer is aware of the Committees Child Protection Policy.
