Annex 1 Mandatory conditions
Mandatory conditions where the licence authorises the exhibition of films
1 Where the film classification body is specified in the licence, unless subsection 2(b) applies, admission of children must be restricted in accordance with any recommendation made by that body of this Certificate.
2 Where
(a) the film classification body is not specified in the licence, or
(b) the relevant licensing authority has notified the holder of the licence that this subsection applies to the film in question,
admission of children must be restricted in accordance with any recommendation made by that licensing authority.
3 In this section -
"children" means persons aged under 18; and
"film classification body" means the person or persons designated as the authority under section 4 of the Video Recordings Act 1984 (c.39) (authority to determine suitability of video works for classification).
4 The admission of persons under the age of 18 to the exhibition of a film at or on the premises must be restricted in accordance with film classification determined by the British Board of Film Classification.
In the event that the film to be exhibited does not have or has not been classified by the British Board of Film Classification the admission of persons under 18 must be restricted in accordance with the recommendation of the Licensing Authority
Annex 2 Conditions consistent with Operating Schedule
Prevention of Crime and Disorder
4 The committee will ensure CCTV is fully fitted and maintained in an operational conditions covering both inside and outside the premises.
5 The committee will ensure an intruder alarm system and P.I.R flood lighting system is fitted on the premises and maintained in an operational condition.
6 The committee will ensure that the proof of age scheme "Challenge 25”, is operated on the premises; and that all staff are fully trained on the schemes requirements and operation.
7 The committee will ensure that no persons under 18 year's are served.
Public Safety
8 The committee will ensure that the premises does not become overcrowded
9 The committee will ensure that a Fire risk assessment is carried out as required, that Fire Assemble points are clearly marked and a First Aider is available.
Prevention of Public Nuisance
10 The committee will ensure that no drinks are taken beyond the licensed area.
11 The committee will ensure that all windows and doors are to remain closed when any entertainment is taking place other than to allow entry and exit.
12 The committee will ensure that notices are displayed requesting patrons to be quiet and respect people living in the vicinity of the club when entering and leaving.
13 The committee will ensure an appropriate responsible person carries out regular monitoring processes to ensure that noise is not disturbing local residents and that a record of this monitoring retained.
Protection of Children from Harm
14 The committee will ensure that no "adult entertainment" is held at the club.
15 The committee will ensure that no abusive language, violence, or consumption of alcohol takes place where children are present. That no children are allowed on the premises unsupervised and that they provide a designated area for children on the premises.
