Annex 1 Mandatory Conditions
Mandatory conditions where licence authorises supply of alcohol
1 No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence:-
a at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence,
or
b at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.
2 Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.
3 The premises licence holder shall ensure that an age verification policy applies to the premises in relation to the sale or supply of alcohol.
The policy must require individuals who appear to the responsible person to be under 18 years of age (or such older age as may be specified in the policy) to produce on request, before being served alcohol, identification bearing their photograph, date of birth and a holographic mark.
Annex 2 Conditions consistent with Operating Schedule
Prevention of Crime and Disorder
1. The licence holder shall install a full colour CCTV system which meets South Yorkshire Police minimum standard which will be maintained for recording facilities. Such recordings shall be retained for a period of 28 days and made available within a reasonable period of time on request by the police.
2. The licence holder shall support the local licence watch scheme.
Public Safety
3 The licence holder shall ensure that the premises have adequate and fully maintained fire fighting and safety equipment.
4 The licence holder shall ensure that all fire exits and means of escape are kept clear and in good operational condition.
5 The licence holder shall ensure that all staff are trained on matters of safety, evacuation and use of emergency equipment as required.
Prevention of Public Nuisance
None.
Protection of Children from Harm
6 The licence holder shall ensure that all staff receive training on matters concerning underage operating procedures.
7 The licence holder shall operate an approved proof of age scheme and will require photographic identification from any person who appears to be under the age of 25.
8 The licence holder shall maintain a refusals book which will be made available to responsible authority representatives upon reasonable request.
9 The licence holder shall use a till system which will automatically prompt members of staff to check for ID when age restricted products are scanned by the system.
