Where a premises licence includes a condition that at specified times one or more individuals must be at the premises to carry out a security activity, the licence must include a condition that each individual must be licensed by the Security Industry
Annex 2 Conditions consistent with Operating Schedule
Prevention of Crime and Disorder
1 The management of the premises will work in partnership with the local police force to prevent crime and disorder.
2 The business operates a robust CCTV Policy to ensure compliance with legislation and to assist the police with the prevention and detection of crime. At all stores where CCTV is in operation appropriate signage reflecting this information is displayed.
3 The business operates digital motion activated CCTV systems where images are retained on hard drive systems. The CCTV equipment will be of a standard suitable to record images of a proper quality and will meet the industry standard and have Kalagate Certification. An alarm will sound if the equipment is faulty or not recording alerting managers for the need to intervene. The CCTV system is regularly serviced by qualified maintenance technicians.
4 The manager will ensure access to the CCTV system will be provided to Police Officers at their request.
5 The business will ensure that all shift running managers have safety and security training.
Public Safety
1 The restaurant has safety systems in place to protect the safety of customers and staff at all times. These systems are regularly reviewed and updated where appropriate.
2 The business will work with local environmental health officers and the fire service to ensure the business complies, as far as reasonably practical, with relevant Health and Safety and Fire Safety legislation. The business also conducts its own safety and security inspections to ensure systems are maintained.
3 The business ensures all staff are required to attend comprehensive safety training to ensure that safe working methods are adopted and all staff are trained in evacuation procedures in the event of a fire or other dangerous occurrence.
4 The business operates a "no open alcohol containers" policy to prevent persons carrying open alcohol into the in-store area.
5 Emergency contact mobile telephone numbers are listed in the business manager’s office.
Prevention of Public Nuisance
1 The business operates "litter patrols" within a certain radius of the premises. All packaging displays the "Bin It" symbol to encourage customers to dispose of waste responsibly. The business is happy to act on recommendations from the Environmental Health Officers should they consider the business needs to extend patrols, as far as reasonably practical, in the nearby area. 2 The business has measures in place to limit noise. The store doors are self-closing and the business tries to encourage customers to be considerate to neighbours and limit noise both when ordering food and on leaving the local area.
Protection of Children from Harm
1 The business requires all staff to attend comprehensive safety training.
