Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with Operating Schedule
Prevention of Crime and Disorder
1 The licence holder shall ensure that a CCTV system is in operation at the premises which is set to the minimum standards set by South Yorkshire Police.
2 The licence holder shall ensure that they as premises licence holder and the Designated Premises Supervisor adhere to the Drugs and Weapons Policy set out by South Yorkshire Police.
3 The licence holder shall ensure that they maintain membership of Rotherham Licencewatch.
4 The licence holder shall ensure that a Personal Licence Holder is on the premises at all times when the premises are open to the public.
5 The licence holder shall ensure that the ‘Challenge 21’ proof of age scheme is in operation at the premises.
6 The licence holder shall ensure that no drinks or bottles are allowed to be taken from the premises.
7 The licence holder shall ensure that on nights when a baseline event or a dance event with multiple DJ’s playing at the premises (excluding the premises licence holders) every customer is searched upon entry and shall supply photographic ID and that ID is scanned using an approved ID scanning device.
8 The licence holder shall ensure on nights when a baseline event or a dance event with multiple DJ’s playing at the premises (excluding the premises licence holders) only polycarbonate drinking vessels are used at the premises.
9 The licence holder shall ensure that on all other nights that the premises are open, search upon entry will be at the discretion of management/door staff and the identification and use of the ID scanning device will be at the discretion of the management/door staff.
10 The licence holder shall ensure that polycarbonate drinking vessels are available to be used at the discretion of the management and on specific nights in consultation with South Yorkshire Police (based on intelligence or local variables).
11 The licence holder shall ensure that an ID scanner is in operation at the premises and may only cease to use the scanning device after the written agreement of South Yorkshire Police has been obtained.
12 The licence holder shall ensure that the ‘Reflective’ event and/or branding will not be hosted at the premises.
Public Safety
13 The licence holder shall ensure that there is a maximum occupancy figure in accordance with the fire risk assessment on the premises when the premises are open to the public.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
The Protection of Children from Harm
14 The licence holder shall ensure that no customers under the age of 18 are admitted to the premises except during music events at the premises.
15 The licence holder shall ensure that persons aged 14 years and over are allowed to enter the premises when the following procedures are in place:-
a. All persons seeking entry to the premises who appear to be under the age of 25 shall be requested to provide photographic ID.
b. All persons aged 18 and over will be provided with a non removable wrist band confirming their age.
c. A member of staff will be on duty in customer areas and shall check those persons consuming alcohol have the appropriate identification or proof of age to guard against the supply of alcohol to under 18s.
d. There shall be no restriction in respect of entry of children to the first floor bar area when used independently from the ground floor area and pursuant to a private family function.
e. No entry to persons under the age of 18 years to all other events.
