Annex 1 Mandatory Conditions
Mandatory conditions where licence authorises supply of alcohol
1 No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence:-
a at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence,
or
b at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.
2 Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.
Mandatory conditions where the licence authorises the exhibition of films
3 Where the film classification body is specified in the licence, unless subsection 4(b) applies, admission of children must be restricted in accordance with any recommendation made by that body of this Certificate.
4 Where
(a) the film classification body is not specified in the licence, or
(b) the relevant licensing authority has notified the holder of the licence that this subsection applies to the film in question,
admission of children must be restricted in accordance with any recommendation made by that licensing authority.
5 In this section -
"children" means persons aged under 18; and
"film classification body" means the person or persons designated as the authority under section 4 of the Video Recordings Act 1984 (c.39)(authority to determine suitability of video works for classification).

Public Safety
None.
Prevention of Public Nuisance
1. The licence holder shall ensure that in order that the local neighbourhood is not disturbed by noise, the volume and control of any noise shall be such that it is not audible at the boundary of the nearest noise sensitive premises.
2. The licence holder shall ensure that the noise is monitored by him/herself or his/her representatives to ensure compliance at reasonable frequencies during an event. The monitoring shall be logged and made available to the Licensing Authority at its request.
3. The licence holder shall ensure that when any regulated entertainment is taking place, all doors and windows are kept closed at all times (other than for access/egress) and alternative acoustically attenuated ventilation is provided as appropriate.
4. The licence holder shall ensure that prior to regulated entertainment taking place at the premises he/she shall ensure that all amplification is controlled by a sound limiting device, which prevents noise exceeding a level pre-set with the approval of Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council, Environmental Health Noise Section.
