Mandatory conditions where licence authorises supply of alcohol
1 No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence:-
a at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence,
or
b at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.
2 Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.
Annex 2 Conditions consistent with Operating Schedule
Prevention of Crime and Disorder
1. The licence holder shall ensure that a CCTV system is installed to include coverage of the cash tills. Images recorded are to be retained in an unedited format for a period of 31 days and recorded images made available to the police and an authorised officer of the council upon request.
2. The licence holder shall ensure that staff are instructed that alcohol may not be sold to any person who is believed to be drunk.
3. The licence holder shall ensure that notices are displayed inside the premises stating that it is an offence for any person under the age of 18 years of age to purchase alcohol.
Public Safety
4. The licence holder shall ensure that all fire fighting equipment is maintained and certificated in accordance with required conditions.
Prevention of Public Nuisance
None.
Protection of Children from Harm
5. The licence holder shall ensure that all staff are trained that alcohol must not be sold to persons under 18 years of age
6. The licence holder shall ensure that the ‘Challenge 21’ Policy is in operation at the premises, with photographic evidence of proof of age such as a passport, photo driving licence or ‘prove it’ card containing the ‘Pass’ Logo being acceptable.
7. The licence holder shall ensure that cash tills used for the sale of alcohol have the benefit of an electronic prompt for operators in respect of age restricted sales.
