Annex 1 Mandatory Conditions
Mandatory conditions where licence authorises supply of alcohol
1 No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence:-
a at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence,
or
b at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.
2 Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.
Annex 2 Conditions consistent with operating schedule
Prevention of Crime and Disorder
1. The licence holder shall ensure that digital CCTV cameras are installed and will operate during the hours alcohol is sold. The recordings will be made available to the Police and other agencies upon request.
2. The licence holder shall ensure that there is an online reporting system in place and any incident involving the sale of alcohol is reported using the system to the Head Office.
3. The licence holder shall ensure that all incidents are reported to and monitored by store management.
Public Safety
None.
Prevention of Public Nuisance
None.
Protection of Children from Harm
4. The licence holder shall ensure that point of sales notices are displayed advising any person who appears under the age of 25 will be asked for proof of age. The store shall operate the ‘Challenge 25’ proof of age scheme.
5. The licence holder shall ensure that training is given to all staff on the consequences for adults who buy alcohol on behalf of children.
6. The licence holder shall ensure that staff only accept photographic identification as proof of age, i.e. passport, photo card driving licence, any identification card with the PASS hologram.
7. The licence holder shall ensure that all members of staff involved in the sale of goods to the public are trained to ensure they avoid making sales of alcoholic products to those under the age of 18.
8. The licence holder shall ensure that there is a till prompt to remind staff that they need to be aware that the sale is sale of a ‘challenge 25’ product and that they should ensure that the person looks over the age of 25.
