period in which the responsible person is authorised to sell or supply alcohol), or \cf0\lang2057\par \cf1\lang9 (ii) drink as much alcohol as possible (whether within a time limit or otherwise); \cf0\lang2057\line\cf1\lang9 (b) provision of unlimited or unspecified quantities of alcohol free or for a fixed or discounted fee to the public or to a group defined by a particular characteristic (other than any promotion or discount available to an individual in respect of alcohol for consumption at a table meal, as defined in section 159 of the Act); \cf0\lang2057\par \cf1\lang9 (c) provision of free or discounted alcohol or any other thing as a prize to encourage or reward the purchase and consumption of alcohol over a period of 24 hours or less; \cf0\lang2057\par \cf1\lang9 (d) provision of free or discounted alcohol in relation to the viewing on the premises of a sporting event, where that provision is dependent on- \cf0\lang2057\par \cf1\lang9 (i) the outcome of a race, effects of drunkenness in any favourable manner. \par \pard\ltrpar\nowidctlpar\qj\cf0\lang2057\par \pard\ltrpar\nowidctlpar\fi-720\li720\qj\cf1\lang9\b 4.\b0\tab The responsible person shall ensure that no alcohol is dispensed directly by one person into the mouth of another (other than where that other person is unable to drink without assistance by reason of a disability).\cf0\lang2057\par \cf1\lang9\b 5.\b0\tab The responsible person shall ensure that free tap water is provided on request to customers where it is reasonably available.\cf0\lang2057\par \cf1\lang9\b 6.\b0\tab The premises licence holder shall ensure that an age verification policy applies to the premises in relation to the sale or supply of alcohol.\cf0\lang2057\par \pard\ltrpar\nowidctlpar\li720\qj\cf1\lang9 The policy must require individuals who appear to the responsible person to be under 18 years of age (or such older age as may be specified in the policy) to produce on request, before being served alcohol, identification bearing their photograph, date of birth and a holographic mark.\cf0\lang2057\par \pard\ltrpar\nowidctlpar\qj\cf1\lang9\b 7.\b0\tab The responsible person shall ensure that-\cf0\lang2057\par \pard\ltrpar\nowidctlpar\li1440\qj\cf1\lang9 (a) where any of the following alcoholic drinks is sold or supplied for consumption on the premises (other than alcoholic drinks shall ensure that fire extinguishers are checked on a regular basis and maintained in working order.\par \pard\ltrpar\qj\par \pard\ltrpar\fi-720\li720\qj 3\tab The licence holder shall ensure regular checks are made on the fire alarm, windows and doors.\par \pard\ltrpar\qj\par 4\tab The licence holder shall have a regular fire drill.\par \par \pard\ltrpar\fi-720\li720\qj 5\tab The licence holder shall ensure that a fire risk assessment is in place for the premises.\par \pard\ltrpar\qj\b\par Prevention of Public Nuisance\par \par \pard\ltrpar\fi-720\li720\qj\b0 6\tab The licence holder or nominated person shall erect and maintain, in a prominent position at every exit a clear, conspicuous and legible notice requesting patrons to avoid causing noise, nuisance or disturbance to local residents. \par 7\tab The licence holder shall ensure that the designated smoking area shall be for smoking only and will take reasonable steps to prevent the consumption of drinks in this area. \par 8\tab The licence holder shall ensure that the rear beer garden shall only be open to customers from 11.00 to 21.00. Notices shall be displayed in appropriate locations to ensure that this information is brought to the attention of patrons. \par 9\tab The licence holder shall ensure that noise levels in outside areas are to be monitored and controlled to minimise any potential impact on local residents.\par 10\tab The licence holder or nominated person shall ensure that during the final hour of trading appropriate announcements are made or images are projected to remind patrons of the need to leave the premises quietly without causing annoyance, nuisance or disturbance to local residents.\par 11\tab The licence holder shall ensure that the performance of live entertainment will be limited to a maximum duration of 3 hours inclusive of breaks and limited to two sessions per week. \par 12\tab The licence holder shall ensure that no speakers for amplification of music shall be placed on the outside of the premises. \par 13\tab The licence holder or nominated person shall ensure a telephone number is provided and displayed in a prominent locations for local residents to call in the case of noise nuisance or other anti-social behaviour by persons or activities associated with the premises. A record must be kept by management of calls taken and subsequent actions taken. The records must be available to the relevant responsible authority. \par 14\tab The licence holder or nominated person shall carry out observations in the vicinity of properties within 50m of the premise on Fenton Road, Kimberworth Park Road and Wortley Road at hourly intervals between 21.00 and 23.00 during live or recorded entertainment, in order to establish if there is noise pollution being caused by the entertainment. If noise pollution is at a level likely to disturb residents in their homes (this may include gardens), the volume shall be reduced to a level that is not likely to cause disturbance. A log of the checks shall be kept along with any actions taken.
