Annex 1 Mandatory Conditions
Mandatory conditions where licence authorises supply of alcohol
1 No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence:-
a at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence,
or
b at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.
2 Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.
3 The premises licence holder shall ensure that an age verification policy applies to the premises in relation to the sale or supply of alcohol.
The policy must require individuals who appear to the responsible person to be under 18 years of age (or such older age as may be specified in the policy) to produce on request, before being served alcohol, identification bearing their photograph, date of birth and a holographic mark.
Annex 2 Conditions consistent with operating schedule
SALES
2 Alcohol shall not be sold in an open container or be consumed in the licensed premises.
Prevention of Crime and Disorder
1 The licence holder shall ensure that CCTV is installed and maintained at the permises with images recorded and retained for at least 21 days and to be handed to the police/local authority on request.
2 The licence holder shall ensuer that signage is displayed in store stating that it is an offence for people under the age of 18 to purchase alcohol.
3 The licence holder shall ensure that a panic button is installed at the premsies for use by staff in an emergency.
4 The licence holder shall ensure that the premises is fitted with a burglar alarm.
Public Safety
Prevention of Public Nuisance
5 The licence holder shall ensure taht no deliveries take place between 23.00 and 06.00 the following day.
Protection of Children from Harm
6 The licence holder shall ensure all staff are tarined in relation to underage related sales of alcohol.
7 The licence holder shall ensure that the 'Challenge 25' proof of age scheme is in place and notices prominently displayed within the store.
8 The licence holder shall ensure that tills are fitted with an electronic prompt when alcohol is scanned to remind staff to check the age of the purchaser.
9 The licence holder shall maintain an age refusals book to be completed where sales of alcohol are challenged or refused.
